Afterglow is a hallmark of Finca Deborah’s quality. This shade grown geisha matures slowly at elevations above 1900 MASL in shade and the biodiversity of a tropical rainforest microclimate.
Perfectly ripe cherries are hand-picked and sorted to assure the purity in the cup.
Processing
Drying process of Afterglow was invented by Jamison Savage. Cherries dry on 3-level bed system designed by Jamison for 20+ days. Each level has a different UV exposure and temperature. Cherries are moved from top to bottom depending on their parameters. They are agitated throughout the day to assure consistency.
Afterglow process brings sweetness, deep fruit flavors and incomparable cleanliness in the cup.
Afterglow proved its quality by winning multiple World Barista/Brewers Championship awards.
